Rahul and Leila are thirteen.
That means we have two teenagers in our home. That life is exciting – full of potential and full of the depths of despair. That I am their safe space, that I get their most vulnerable sweet love and the brunt of their moody days.
I am honored to be that person for them, to bounce off ideas and questions, to protect them enough, and also only enough.
I hope I can live up to that responsibility. They are my inspiration in all I do and live for.
And. I am happy to have more independence to live my own individual story too.
That Rahul and Leila are 13 also means this blog has been going for that long. It is evolving as we all are.
